4 rules for life

4 Rules for Life

I came across these recently, & like them very much: 4 Rules for Life

  • Show up.
  • Pay attention.
  • Tell the truth.
  • Don’t be attached to the results.

-- Angeles Arrien, U.S. teacher, author (1940 - )

Of course I could add some more “rules” – about walking, music, friendship, joy, fun, compassion, generosity, gratitude, living in the moment, & so on…but these 4 are pretty fine, & I am grateful to Angeles Arrien (& to the Globe & Mail newspaper I found them in!).

Another week on the roller coaster begins! (Such a mysterious adventure, this life, hmmm??)
